DXB dnata launched centralized cargo screening control room, partnered with Dubai Police, to remotely operate and monitor xray machines integrated with dnata’s cargo system; dnata also testing automated mobile robots as well as tools for shipment dimensioning and ULD load optimization; DXB dnata serves 120 airlines handling 60k tonnes of cargo monthly.

New per-passenger tax on private air charter flights from Dutch airports set to take effect 2030, applicable to aircraft with 19 or fewer passenger seats; tax almost identical to France’s solidarity tax, where overall volume of flights not decreased while more flights now operated by foreign companies not subject to fiscal reporting.

According to Boeing’s Michael Haidinger, supply chain requires true partnership, integrating stability across aerospace value chain, with early identification of potential impacts and more active risk mitigation; Airbus Steinmetz’s highlighted OEMs’ responsibility in asking suppliers to deliver faster with more resilience, industry needs to “change paradigm” of supply chain – moving from thinking in years to days, weeks, even hours.
